Afghan Mama: Malana Cream x Kandahari

Afghan Mama has been a staple in my garden for over 13 years now. Since its inception this line has stood out. Not only for the beautiful and colorful flowers, but also the creatively stimulating, uplifting and soaring effects that mix so perfeclty with deep body realxtion that ultimately leads to deep and restful sleep.

Created from Kandahar Afghani seed stock that was collected by a friend of mine during his early 2000s military service in Afghanistan. From that seed line I chose an exceptional purple mother and an equally impressive Malana Cream father, sourced directly from the Himalayas.

The mother was chosen for her beautiful meditative, relaxing, uplifting, and dreamy (not overly sleepy) effects and her gorgeous deep royal purple coloration. The Malana Cream father brought in a powerful soaring, uplifting, joyful, creative, and deeply spiritual effect that is renowned throughout the Himalayas and was a favorite of mine since youth. Aromas are primarily floral and fruity perfumes with a sweet cream hashish touch. With both parental lines known for resin production and high yields, the physical and spiritual qualities expressed are difficult to surpass. Afghan Mama stimulates the third eye and inspires creativity and connection to self and the world around us. The beginning effects are energizing and vibrant, with creating a focoused, blissful and positive mindset. This morphs into a relaxed, and happy and dreamy vibe that slowly melts into deep relaxation and delicious sleep. In larger quantities, this dreamy, relaxed, and ultimately sleepy quality is enhanced. All who have encountered this line agree that is is something special, with a classic old school long lasting effect that expands the heart and mind.

Pest resistant and easy to grow. Afghan Mama requires little more than well composted manure and water to thrive. Handling the flowers quickly coats the fingers with oily resin. A true testament to the historical use of the parent lines in producing charas and hashish.

Resistant to adverse weather and most pests. Easy to grow and train, with full season outdoor plants easily forming a large orb shape if pinched or topped properly. Perfect for nature hikes, walking meditation, creative expression, energy work, and channeling. Excellent for pain relief, effective for depression and stress management.
